My name is Ed Brady, and I am the Chief of Police for the Arvada Police Department. I am writing to you on behalf of the Arvada Police Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering strong partnerships between our police department and the community we serve.

The Arvada Police Foundation is committed to supporting the Arvada Police Department in its mission of providing exceptional police service. Our Foundation has outlined specific goals aimed at enhancing the relationship between law enforcement and the community, promoting officer safety and wellness, expanding police/youth programs, honoring the memory of fallen officers, creating training opportunities, and ensuring access to state-of-the-art technology and equipment.

The Foundation will not be used to supplant dollars already budgeted for the Police Department, but instead will be used to enhance in these areas above and beyond what is already budgeted.
